Abbey Road Hospice was developed based on the compassion and respect for the process of completing one's life journey with dignity and grace. At Abbey Road Hospice, complete hospice care involves serving not only the patient but also the family, caregivers, and community that surround this individual. Services are tailored to our patient's wishes including medical care in addition to spiritual, family and bereavement support.

What is Hospice

Hospice is specialized type of care for those facing a life-limiting illness, their families and their caregivers.

  • Hospice care addresses the patient’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.

  • Hospice care also helps the patient’s family caregivers.

  • Hospice care takes place in the patient’s home or in a home-like setting.

  • Hospice care concentrates on managing a patient’s pain and other symptoms so that the patient may live as comfortable as possible and make the most of the time that remains.

  • Hospice care believes the quality of life to be as important as length of life

Community volunteers are trained individuals whom actively make a difference in the lives of our patients, family members, and the community.

We are unique

Where did the name Abbey Road come from?

Abbey – is a Christian monastery, under the authority of an Abbot or an Abbess, who serves as the spiritual father or mother of the community.

We chose Abbey because we feel it represents who we are. We are a Christian based family

owned company, serving the community in its greatest time of need.

Road - a thoroughfare, route, or way between two places.

We chose Road because that represents what we believe life is, a way between two places.

The gates in the logo;

Gate - is a point of entry to a space enclosed by walls, or a moderately sized opening in a fence.

We chose the gates to further illustrate Hospice being the end of life, a point in which we enter a better place.

What sets Abbey Road Hospice apart is our commitment to offering the highest level of patient care through the following:

  • Our nurse to patient ratio is lower than most hospice providers.

  • The care we provide our team makes them better caregivers.

  • Our administrative team is active in the community ensuring quality care.

  • Our certified nurse assistants are compassionately caring for patients as frequently as 5 days a week.

  • We are locally owned and operated with a greater investment in the community than large corporate hospice providers.
