Abbey Road Hospice is a locally owned and operated hospice center providing end-of-life care for the Columbia, South Carolina community. At Abbey Road Hospice, we believe that providing complete in-home hospice care involves serving not only the patient, but also the family, caregivers, and community that surrounds the individual. Our role in our patient’s life is to help them feel comfortable and provide support to them and their loved ones through difficult times.
All of the in-home senior care services we provide are tailored to our patient’s wishes. Of course, our staff includes trained professionals that will assist with essential medical care, but we will also include any care that involves spirituality, family, and bereavement support.

PERSONALIZED HOSPICE HOME CARE
PHYSICIANS
All medical care is authorized by the patient's physician and/or Abbey Road's Medical Director.
LICENSED SOCIAL WORKERS
Our Social Workers provide guidance and support for emotional and financial concerns. Services and support are offered to both the patient and their family members.
NURSES AVAILABLE 24/7
Our nurses are there around the clock to monitor the patient's condition and to provide pain and symptom management.
CHAPLAINS
Our Chaplains provide pastoral care for the patient and their families. Chaplains also work closely with the staff at Abbey Road to provide for the well-being of employees to ensure quality patient care.
CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANTS
Assistance is provided to patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and light housekeeping.
VOLUNTEER SERVICES
Community volunteers are trained individuals who actively make a difference in the lives of our patients, family members, and the community.

Our nurse-to-patient ratio is lower than most hospice providers in the area, allowing us to dedicate our full attention to each and every patient. We focus on taking care of our team so that they can bring their best to you every single day. To do this, we ensure all nurses work appropriate shift lengths, staffing day, night, and weekend nurses.
