Our Bereavement Program

We understand that dealing with grief and loss (bereavement) can feel overwhelming. To help families during this challenging time, Abbey Road Hospice offers a series of bereavement services for 13 months following the death of a loved one.

Grief support is provided by professional staff and may include:

• Support visits for individuals, families, caregivers and facility staff
• Telephone support
• Community support groups
• Educational materials about the process of grief healing
• Assistance to out-of-area survivors in need of local support resources
• Referrals to community providers for needs other than bereavement support

Services are available at no charge and are open to anyone in need, even if hospice care was not provided by Abbey Road Hospice.
